What are tinctures?
Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts made by soaking the bark, berries, leaves (dried or fresh), or roots from one or more plants in alcohol, glycerin, or vinegar. These agents help pull out and extract the active ingredients in the plant parts, concentrating them as a liquid.
How do I know the difference when buying tinctures?
All of our tinctures are properly labeled to ensure you do not mix them up. When ordering, please choose the option between Vegetable Gylcerin or Alcohol base to ensure delivery of the correct one for you!
How long do tinctures last?
Depending on the extraction method, tinctures can last upwards of 2-8 years. Glycerin tinctures stored in dark jars away from sunlight can hold up to 2-4 years. Alcohol tinctures stored in the same way can hold 3-8 years.
Are alcohol tinctures safe for children?
While the overall consensus is yes- they are safe, we recommend speaking with your healthcare professional before using. Tinctures use ethyl alcohol, a very high proof, safe for consumption and the amount ingested is minimal so the amount of alcohol used is negligible. All tinctures, both alcohol based and glycerin based, are typically taken with water to disperse product. Are the wellness gummies safe for children?
Our gummy products are made with fresh, foraged plant material, LorAnn gummy mix, and dye and chemical free. Because we offer a variety of products, please read the descriptions about each product to ensure the product is labeled child safe before purchasing. Because these products are not FDA or USDA approved, they are not a replacement for traditional healthcare, they are not supplements, they are wellness candy. All ingredients and information is provided with purchase.
How long do the gummy products last?
Each product is made with fresh and foraged plant material and no added preservatives. Unlike conventional candy, this means they do have a shelf life and will expire or grow mold if left unattended before expiration date. Most gummy candies last 2-3 months, your product will be labeled with an expiration date.
How will I know if I am allergic?
All products are shipped with a complete list of ingredients, dosage, and educational material about the product. This is not only for your safety, but should you have a reaction, it will help provide your doctor with knowledge of what you have consumed. We always suggest speaking to your health care provider before consuming anything you may be allergic to or taking any product not approved by the FDA or USDA.
What do I do with my leftover containers?
If you do not decide to use your leftover containers for your own use, we will gladly take back gently used items as part of our recycle and sanitize program!
Why do I have different shapes in my order?
Because we are a homemade and handmade company, the sizes and molds of our poured products can vary from time to time! However, the volume of the gummy stays the same, even if the shape does not!

Are the bath soaks safe for children?
Our detox bath soaks are made with a rich mix of clays, magnesium salts, native plants, and fresh ground citrus. While they are safe for both adults and children, please note that there are instructions included about how long to soak because magnesium salts are known to cause health problems if abused. If your child is not at the age of understanding to not ingest the water, please do not use.
How long do the skin care products last?

Is homemade toothpaste/ tooth powder safe?
Our ingredients are combined using traditional methods and recipes. Some people with extreme sensitivity have been known to have reactions to the clay and soda mix in natural toothpaste. There have been reported reactions from people taking certain medications for dystonia and seizure disorders as well. What do I do if I have an allergic reaction?
If you have an allergic reaction to any of our products, we suggest calling the Poison Control Center (1-800-222-1222) or 911. You will have a list of all ingredients used and a medical professional can help you isolate which ingredient you may be reacting to.
Why does my paperwork say not FDA approved?
All of our products are labeled with this warning as there is insufficient evidence and study concluded to claim that these products can heal, treat, or diagnose any health problems. We are an educational center focusing on foraging education and plant identification. Any products sold here must be labeled with warnings about to insufficient evidence and study surrounding these materials.
